Angola has been living a peaceful and stable environment since 2002 when a peace agreement was signed. The Bank has contributed towards a variety of interventions to curtail development challenges in Angola. For example, the Bank supported the Fundo de Apoio Social to provide poor communities with access to basic social and economic infrastructure and services. The Bank also financed reconstruction and reintegration efforts after the war. Today, the Bank maintains a diverse lending and technical assistance portfolio in Angola, aiming to promote poverty reduction and shared growth for the benefit of all Angolans.
