Since 2003, after almost 15 years of brutal conflict which destroyed lives, key institutions, and infrastructure and grounded the economy to a halt, Liberia has achieved great progress in the face of considerable difficulties and risks. Currently, the Bank provides assistance to more than 20 projects in all major sectors, including: infrastructure, economic governance, health, and agriculture & forestry.
